The World Beat Movement unites individuals and communities through the universal language of music. We will visit isolated communities to provide the instruments and educational tools necessary to develop sustained community music programs. This is a global initiative to give the gift of music to others through a beautiful cross-cultural exchange that will need the support of individuals from around the world.
We are developing a music movement to raise awareness of our mission and the donations necessary to deliver music, instruments, and education to remote indigenous communities in Panama. We will provide the education and music program curricula to community members of these communities.
San Diego based band, Todo Mundo, is partnering with 501(c)(3) non-profit Give & Surf to deliver this gift of music and education during our first expedition to Panama. All WBM royalties and after tax profits from this effort will be used for charitable purposes.

Todo Mundo
Todo Mundo (“All the World”), who’s Organic Fire was voted “Best World Music Album” at the 2011 San Diego Music Awards, blends the musical flavors of Spanish Rumba, Reggae, Samba, Bossa Nova, and Middle Eastern styles into an irresistible groove that has been moving dance floors and connecting with audiences across the world since 2009. The band, which was nominated for “Best World Music” band at the 2012 & 2013 San Diego Music Awards, is led by singer, guitarist, and songwriter Santiago Orozco, a native of Colombia.
Through music, Todo Mundo has learned to share their soul and experiences with the world. The power of music allows them to transmit their messages of equality and diversity. Their music and performances possess explosive energy that celebrates life and unity, with the aim of connecting with people from all over the world, and encouraging them to live in the present, as one.
They have toured across North America, performing at various festivals and concerts halls throughout California, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Mexico. They have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with international artists such as Los Amigos Invisibles, Sister Nancy, Aterciopelados, Jarabe De Palo, and El Gran Silencio.
In 2013, Todo Mundo teamed up with Grammy Award winning engineer Alan Sanderson and released Conexion, their latest full length studio album. The album contains a “masterful blend” of grooves from around the world, and has received praise from both fans and critics (San Diego Uptown News). The band maintains a busy tour schedule and is planning on releasing an EP in 2015.
Todo Mundo’s Mission
Todo Mundo believes that through music we can connect with every human being and transcend into the deepest parts of who we are. Music can serve as a shelter, change lives, and break down barriers to bring people together regardless of their differences. Our goal is to introduce our musical knowledge to members of the communities and share with them the light, power, and motivation that music has brought to our lives. Through developing sustainable music programs in these communities we would love to inspire them to explore their artistic sides, creativity, and follow their dreams. Through our live performances we want them to experience and feel music in a way they may have never done before. We want to show them that music can be a clean and beautiful channel to express ideas and emotions to their communities. It also improves the quality of life and provides a positive outlet for those going through hard times. Through our experiences we have learned that music by itself is the best medicine for the mind and the soul. We believe we are all one and music brings us to that understanding within ourselves and within one another.
